The AHR Expo is the HVACR industry's largest event of the year. Since 1930, the AHR Expo has remained the industry’s best place for manufacturers, engineers, contractors, technicians, facility operators, and other industry professionals to explore the latest trends and cultivate mutually beneficial business relationships.
After a two-year hiatus, the S&P USA team headed to Las Vegas to display our latest products and meet with new and old industry partners. Over the course of three days, we shared how our products can be used to complete any ventilation project.

S&P is taking efficiency a step further. SMXDK & SMXDKe are inline ducted fans that can be used in exhaust, supply, or return air applications. These fans are an enhanced version of our SMXD Mixed Flow Fan, which was released in 2021.
SMXDK will be available later this year in direct drive (SMXDK) and direct drive with EC Motor (SMXDKe) versions. Keep SMXDK and SMXDKe in mind for future parking garage, commercial building, or warehouse projects.
Many of our customers are already familiar with our SDBDe and STXDe Upblast and Downblast Direct Drive Centrifugal Roof Exhaust Fans, but we've made exciting enhancements to this product line!
S&P USA has expanded the performance range of the SDBDe and STXDe exhaust fans by implementing larger horsepower EC motors. We've implemented 1-1/2 and 2 HP 208-230 volt EC Motors and added lower speed 115V 1HP ECMs to expand the 115V performance range.
At the AHR Expo, we displayed the latest addition to S&P's Jet Fan Series, IFFTe. Jet Fans, including IFFTe, are an alternative to traditional ducted parking garage ventilation. By not requiring ductwork, jet fans can save up to 13" of clearance per floor of the garage. This saves money in material costs and creates a more aesthetically pleasing design.
IFFTe is a centrifugal jet fan that provides a plume with inclination to help avoid beams and obstructions in parking garages. While the general design and function of IFFTe have been seen before in our IFFT model, IFFTe utilizes the latest in EC model technology. This technology makes IFFTe more efficient and decreases energy consumption.
S&P USA's line of Outside Air Solutions can be paired to create a balanced air system. Our Outside Air Solutions include Premium CHOICE Series Exhaust Fans, TD Inline Fans, reFresh Series Filtered Supply Fans, Outside Air Motorized Damper Kits, and Total Recovery Energy Recover Ventilators. S&P USA's PV-DEDPV Dryer Exhaust Duct Power Ventilator has made its AHR Expo debut! PV-DEDPV is a cULus 705 listed Dryer Exhaust Duct Power Ventilator. It effectively helps residential clothes dryers overcome the high static pressure caused by long duct runs between the dryer and wall or roof cap.
