Jacksonville, FL—S&P USA Ventilation Systems LLC (S&P USA), a leading provider of HVAC air movement and ventilation solutions, is proud to announce the addition of our new line of rooftop models to our series of TRC energy recovery ventilators (ERVs). Designed to meet the growing demand for energy-efficient ventilation solutions in light-commercial settings, these new models help businesses provide fresh, filtered air for their customers and employees.

With Americans spending 90% of their time indoors, finding the right ventilation strategy for a safe and healthy indoor environment is critical. As buildings have become more tightly sealed and energy efficient, they seal in indoor air pollutants, causing deficient indoor air quality (IAQ). Deficient IAQ can not only adversely affect health and cognitive function, but it can also damage structures and lower productivity.

When it comes to poor IAQ, the solution to pollution is dilution. Exhausting stale indoor air and replacing it with fresh outdoor air is the key to improving IAQ, but that can lead to an increase in energy use and costs. S&P USA’s Total Recovery (TRC) ERVs solve this problem by providing increased airflow in an energy-efficient manner.

Our ventilators have a static-plate, crossflow core that separates the outgoing, polluted indoor airstream from the incoming fresh airstream while transferring total energy (heat and water vapor) between the two. This prevents the mixing of airstreams and the transfer of pollutants. In the winter, the ERVs preheat and humidify the cold, dry outside air using the warm interior air. During the summer, they pre-cool and dehumidify the warm, humid outside air using the air-conditioned interior air.

To provide more options for our customers, S&P USA now offers new rooftop model additions to our popular TRC line of ERVs. The TRC500RT, TRC800RT, TRC1200RT, TRC1600RT boast an airflow range of 166–1853 CFM, with features including:

These rooftop ventilation systems are best suited for light-commercial applications such as schools, clinics, retail spaces, and gyms. Our ERVs are also built to last, with S&P USA offering an industry-leading 10-year structural and performance warranty for the static-plate core. The TRC units are also low maintenance. Simply change the filters regularly and vacuum the core with a soft brush attachment once a year to gently clean dust and debris.

"S&P USA is committed to providing advanced ventilation technology to help people breathe better, cleaner air," said Abhijit Bhosale, Product Manager at S&P USA Ventilation Systems. "With the launch of our new TRC rooftop models, we are helping businesses achieve superior indoor air quality with reduced energy costs, contributing to both environmental sustainability and operational efficiency."
