S&P USA Ventilation Systems Expands Quickship Program

Jacksonville, FLS&P USA Ventilation Systems LLC (S&P USA), a leader in the sales and distribution of HVAC air movement products throughout North America, announced an ambitious expansion of its renowned Quickship commercial ventilation product delivery program with the addition of the CM model belt-drive utility vent set. The Quickship Program manufactures and stocks fan parts in advance to guarantee expedited ventilation product shipment for emergency replacement repairs at hotels, hospitals, restaurants, education facilities and other commercial and institutional customers.

Quickship offers 14-day lead times on CM models ranging from 500 to 13,900-CFM and 10 to 24-inches in size, which encompasses more than 60 percent of the product line.

Besides the CM model, other Quickship products include AMCA-certified and UL-Listed centrifugal rooftop and sidewall exhausters, commercial kitchen exhaust and supply fans, utility vent sets, inline duct fans, gravity ventilators, roof curbs and dampers. These products are available in 3, 7 or 14-day lead times, depending on the configuration. The new updated 40-page Quickship Guide catalog is available at https://www.solerpalau-usa.com/documents/Brochure/Quickship_Catalog.pdf.

The Quickship program also plans further expansion in 2025 with additional fan offerings, such as sidewall prop fans, and shorter lead times than the current 3, 7 and 14-day standard, depending on the product.

The Quickship expansion was prompted by the return of industry-wide pre-COVID supply chain levels and S&P USA’s major 2024 investment in state-of-the-art CNC punch/forming, CNC roller and custom-designed flanging production equipment, according to Jeff Ledsinger, National Director of Sales. Thus, S&P USA’s Jacksonville facility stocks all Quickship fan shells that can be quickly outfitted by assembly technicians with belt or direct drive packages and accessories such as dampers, curbs, shutters, inlet/outlet dampers, vibration pads, rails, and guards.

Any Quickship product offering can be modified in-house to replace any S&P USA fan or most competitors’ fans regardless of age. “We need to know (to replace a fan) the fan model, CFM, voltage, static pressure, existing curb outer dimensions, and whether it requires a grease-rating for kitchens,” said Ledsinger. “Fans have become smaller and more efficient the last decade or two, so the replacement may need an adaptor curb, which we supply. If the name plate is missing, we’ll calculate the horsepower needed for the application and send a completely assembled fan that will fit the existing curb. We replace a lot of competitors’ fans.”
